LEVINE,
JR., JACK G. 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved
him dearly on June 10, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother
Eileen M. Levine and 2 very special mothers-in-law, Pauline P. Hannon
and Rosealle E. Schwarz, all of Birmingham. In 1990 he lost his beloved,
devoted and loving wife, Corrian H. Levine with whom he had 3 children
that survive: Brian Levine, Jill Toodle (John), and Fallon Brewer
(Scott), all of Birmingham. He also leaves behind a dearly loved wife,
Kathy S. Levine and step-children, Jason Cervo (Kim) Long Island, NY and
Sarah Hall (Stuart), Birmingham, AL. And several grandchildren whom he
adored with all his heart. Jack was a lifelong resident of Birmingham,
whose competitive entrepreneur spirit led him to be part of successful
businesses in the building materials, scrap tire, and restaurant/sports
bar industries. Jack loved spoiling and spending time with his
grand-babies, relishing in his role as "Big Daddy". He loved all dogs
especially his Boxers, "Angel" and Princess", and many others who surely
greeted him enthusiastically at the Rainbow Bridge. He loved jigsaw
puzzles, a good game of cards, and in years past when he felt better he
loved weekends at Inland Lake and playing golf, especially with the
right proposition! He will be dearly missed by friends and family. A
memorial service and celebration of life will be held Saturday June 15,
2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Shades Valley Lutheran Church with a reception to
follow at the church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the
American Heart Association , Greater Birmingham Humane Society, or the
charity of your choice. Published in The Birmingham
