KNOX, LARRY REED, of Birmingham joined our Lord and Savior on January 6, 2010. He was born on July 15, 1948 in Miami, Florida. Larry was a graduate of the University of Alabama and a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. He was an engineer for the Alabama Dept. of Economic and Community Affairs. Larry is survived by his wife, Susan Robinson Knox; his children, Bradley Knox, Shelley Knox Rehberg and husband Shane, and Stewart Knox and wife Amy; and granddaughter, Harper Rehberg. He is also survived by his uncles, Victor and JM Knox; aunt, Sammy Orwick; and brothers, David and Richard Knox. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman R. Knox. The memorial service for Larry will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2010 in the chapel of Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. Rev. Vernon Betsch and Dr. Joseph Slain will officiate.
